Facebook users started reporting that they couldn’t post on Facebook and that posts simply didn’t go through. If you’re one of them, know that there are certain things you could try to fix this issue. It can happen from any device, be it your PC, iPhone, or Android device. This article gives you ten possible fixes to resolve the problem.

Also, check out this troubleshooting guide if you can’t leave comments on your Facebook posts.

Why Can’t I Post on Facebook?

There is no general answer to the question of why can’t you post on the Facebook page because there could be a variety of reasons. However, if you’re trying to post in a Facebook group where you are not an admin or a moderator, you could be temporarily muted or have limited access to the group. You can contact the group admin and clear the issue with them.

That said, here are the other reasons why you’re not able to post on Facebook:

  • Your internet connection is bad.
  • The Facebook server might be down.
  • You’re logged into the wrong Facebook account.
  • You’ve broken the Facebook Community standards.
  • Browser caching problems.
  • You’re having VPN-related issues.
  • The Facebook mobile app might have a glitch.
  • Using browser extensions that interfere with Facebook.

These are the most common reasons why you can’t post on Facebook. By troubleshooting them, you can quickly fix the issue yourself.

1. Relaunch Facebook

More often than not, you can’t post on Facebook because of the common issues between your web browser and Facebook servers. You could solve these issues by relaunching Facebook and re-logging to your account. The re-established browser and Facebook server connection should clear most bugs.

Here’s how to relog in a web browser:

  1. Go to the Facebook main page and click on your profile image in the upper right corner of the screen.
  1. Select Log Out from the drop-down menu.
  1. Close and re-open your web browser and log into Facebook.

You can try the same steps on your mobile device using a web browser to access Facebook.

2. Check Your Internet Connection

You might have some problems with your router or other internet connectivity devices. So, always check your internet connection. Try resetting your router, and if this doesn’t work, contact your internet service provider.

When experiencing problems with your home network, try accessing your Facebook page using your mobile data. That usually fixes the issue for the time being. Still, you will want to check what’s wrong with your home network.

3. Try Switching Between Wi-Fi and Mobile Internet Connection

Undetected problems with Wi-Fi will also prevent you from posting on Facebook. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see any difference. You can also try switching between different Wi-Fi networks and see if this resolves your issue.

4. Check Facebook Server Status

Sometimes the problem might be with the Facebook server. Just like any other server, it can experience issues and go offline. Typically, the Facebook server goes down only temporarily, and no notifications will inform you of this. If this is the case, you should be able to post without problems as soon as it returns online.

You can check the Facebook server status by using the Downdetector website:

  1. Go to https://downdetector.com/
  2. Type Facebook in the search bar.
  1. Because there are different servers for Facebook and Facebook Messenger, you can choose which one you want to check. Select Facebook.
  1. The next page will display the status of the Facebook server.

If Downdetector claims there are no problems with the Facebook server at the given moment, continue troubleshooting.

5. Turn Your VPN On or Off

Sometimes, a VPN can interfere with your ability to post on Facebook due to glitchy connection routing. Try turning it off and see if this fixes the issue.

Sometimes, you’ll need to run a VPN to post on Facebook. This can happen if you find yourself in a country where Facebook is banned. If you’re in this situation and still can’t post even though you’re running a VPN, consider switching to a different one.

6. Update the Facebook App

If you can’t post on Facebook from your mobile device, consider updating the Facebook app with the latest version. Outdated apps can create lots of problems.

It doesn’t matter if you’re an iOS or Android user; updating the app is very simple:

  1. Go to the Google Play store (Android) or the App Store (iOS).
  2. Type Facebook in the search bar.
  3. If your app is outdated, you can see an Update button. Tap it, and the update will start automatically.

When the update is finished, go to the app and see if you can post now.

7. Reinstall the Facebook App

Sometimes, updating a Facebook app is impossible due to corrupted files or other bugs. You’ll have to reinstall it. To do this:

  1. Find the Facebook app on your mobile phone and uninstall it. This step will be different depending on the model of your phone.
  2. Go to Google Play or App Store and type Facebook in the search bar.
  3. Tap the Install button (Google Play), and the app will be installed automatically. Instead of Install, you’ll have the Get button in the App Store.

After re-installing the app, try posting something and see if your issue is solved.

8. Try Another Browser

If you suspect your browser is not working properly, try another browser. So if you’re a Chrome user, try Firefox instead. This is the best step to take before trying the next two options. You don’t want to go through the hassle of deleting your browsing data and extensions if it is unnecessary.

9. Delete Browsing Data and Cookies

All browsers store temporary data on your system. This is how they remember websites you visit often and can open them virtually in no time the next time you visit them.

But this data can easily get corrupted and mess with posting on Facebook. If you receive an error message saying, “You can’t post on Facebook,” it could be that one of the browser data files is causing the issue, and you should clear your cache files and cookies.

Don’t worry; websites will still work without issues if you delete these files. The browser will create new temporary files.

Here’s how to delete browsing data and cookies from Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge:

Clear Data on Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and go to the three dots menu in the upper right corner. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  1. On the next page select Privacy & Security from the left panel.
  1. In the right panel, go to Clear browsing data.
  1. When a pop-up window opens, select all the content you want to remove and confirm by clicking the Clear data button.

Clear Data on Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Firefox and go to the hamburger menu in the top right corner. Select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  1. On the left panel, select Privacy & Security.
  1. Scroll down until you reach the Cookies and Site Data section. Click the Clear Data button.

Clear Data on Microsoft Edge

  1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser. Go to the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and select Settings from the drop-down menu.
  1. From the left panel select Privacy, Search, and Services.
  1. On the right panel, scroll to Clear Browsing Data. Select Choose what to clear button.
  2. When a pop-up window opens, click on the Time range drop-down menu, and select All time.
  1. Select Browsing history, Download history, Cookies and other site data, and Cached images and files to clear. Then click on the Clear now button to execute.

10. Remove Browser Extensions

Various browser extensions make our search engines more personalized and enjoyable. But sometimes, these extensions can interact with some of the websites unpredictably.

Disabling or removing the extensions from your web browser should fix your problems with Facebook. Let’s see how to do it on three already mentioned browsers.

Clear Browser Extensions on Google Chrome

  1. Open the browser and go to the three dots menu. Select More Tools. Then Extensions.
  1. A new window will open, displaying all the extensions you installed. To disable extensions, simply toggle it off. To remove it, select Remove.

Clear Browser Extensions on Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open the browser and go to a hamburger menu. Select Addon and Themes from the drop-down menu.
  1. From the left panel select Extensions.
  1. To disable them, toggle the extension off. To remove them click the three dots next to the toggle switch, and select Remove.

Clear Browser Extensions on Microsoft Edge

  1. Open the Edge browser and go to the three dots menu. Select Extensions.
  1. A pop-up window will open listing all the installed extensions. Here you can deactivate them, or click on the three dots and select Remove from Microsoft Edge.

With some troubleshooting and experimentation, you should be able to resolve most Facebook posting problems quickly and without too much effort. Remember that the key to solving most technical issues is usually trial and error.

Discord is one of the most popular voice and chat apps for gamers. With over 150 million registered users, it grew beyond its initial purpose, and now people use Discord for various activities besides gaming. You can even host streaming parties and stream Hulu and Netflix on Discord.

Discord allows you to create private servers where you can chat with your friends, and share pictures, videos, or different files. But with the Go Live feature, you can also share your computer screen with everyone on your server.

Just like anything else about Discord, this feature too was created initially for gamers. It allowed players to broadcast their screen to their followers so they could watch the gameplay live. So, let’s see how you can share Hulu with your online friends and have some fun.

How to Stream Hulu on Discord

If you want to watch a movie together with your friends by using Discord, you’ll be happy to know that the process is fairly easy. You’ll need the latest desktop version of the Discord app, a reliable internet connection, and a Hulu subscription.

The latest version of Discord will allow you to stream with fewer issues. But keep in mind that although basic streaming is free, only users with a Discord Nitro account can stream 4k. Also, you’ll have to use the desktop app. The web version won’t allow you to stream Hulu. That said, here are the steps you need to take:

  1. Open your desktop Discord app and make sure you’re logged in with the right credentials.
  2. Open your internet browser and log into your Hulu account.
  1. Select a show or a movie you want to stream on Discord.
  2. Go back to the Discord app and find the Settings icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  1. Under the Activity Settings find Registered Games on the sidebar menu. Click Add it.
  1. Select the internet browser which you used to open Hulu, from the drop-down menu. Click the Add Game button. Note that if you use the Hulu app instead of a browser, select the app instead and add it.
  1. Now go to the Discord server where you’ll stream Hulu and select the voice channel.
  2. In the bottom left corner, just above your name, you’ll see the Share Screen option. Click it.
  1. A pop-up window will appear. Select the screen or app you’ll share.
  1. Adjust the resolution and frame rate for streaming. If you have the free version of Discord, you’ll only have the option of 720p resolution at 30 fps. But with Nitro, you’ll be able to choose a better resolution and a higher frame rate. Finally, select Go Live and start streaming Hulu on Discord.

Your friends will have to click on the Live button in the voice channel and join you in watching Hulu movies or shows. If you want to stop streaming, you can do it at any time by simply clicking on the End Call button.

You’ll be able to see a preview window of your Hulu stream in the Discord app. Double-click on it to set the larger view. If you’re streaming yourself through the webcam you’ll also see a preview of yourself.

How to Stream Hulu on Discord on Android or iPhone

You can easily stream Hulu on Discord through your mobile app, just by sharing your screen on the Discord app. Then you’ll have to open Hulu in a browser window and simply select what you want to watch. Follow these steps to do it:

  1. Launch the Discord mobile app.
  2. Select a server and join the voice chat.
  3. Click the Join Voice button.
  1. Tap the Screen Share icon in order to start sharing your screen. On Android, you’ll have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the menu with this option.
  1. Go to the web browser on your phone and log into your Hulu account. You can also use the Hulu app for mobile.
  2. Select a movie or a show to watch and play it. Whoever is on the same server and voice channel as you, will be able to see it while you’re sharing your screen.

How to Stream Hulu on Discord Without Black Screen

Some users reported experiencing a Black Screen problem while streaming Hulu on Discord. That means that once the streaming begins, they can’t see anything else but a black color on their screen. This typically happens because all content on Hulu is DRM protected. The black screen is a known issue and it happens if the hardware acceleration has been enabled in your browser. To get rid of the black screen, you’ll have to disable it. Here is how you can do it in different browsers.

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and click on three vertical dots to open the menu. Then go to Settings.
  1. Navigate to System, and disable the Use hardware acceleration when available.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox and click on the Menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Select Settings.
  1. Under the General tab go to Performance.
  2. Uncheck Use recommended performance. The Use hardware acceleration when available option will now appear. Uncheck that as well.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and Select More (the three dots icon) in the top-right corner of the window. Go to Settings.
  1. Select System and Performance from the side menu.
  1. Disable Use hardware acceleration when available.

Discord

  1. Open Discord and go to Settings.
  2. In the side menu, under App Settings, select the Voice & Video option.
  1. Scroll to the Advanced section and disable Video Codec. This will also disable hardware acceleration video encoding if available.

That’s it! After you disable hardware acceleration, either in the browser or in the Discord app, you won’t have the black screen issue anymore.

Stream with Your Friends Wherever They Are

Once you have everything set up, invite your online friends over and kick back with some of your favorite shows. If you run into any trouble along the way, feel free to reach out to us in the comment section below.

Although the Sony PlayStation 5 is one of the most powerful consoles in the world, it’s also by far the largest console. Despite its design and airflow, it suffers from a few overheating issues, and they usually aren’t subtle. You’ll get a warning that says, “Your PS5 is too hot,” and then the system will shut down.

There are multiple cooling stands on the market that can help fight overheating and prevent any interruptions to your gameplay. Some sit horizontally, while others lean towards a vertical orientation. Something you’ll want to keep in mind is which edition of the PS5 you have and whether the stand will work for it.

1. NexiGo PS5 Cooling Stand

The NexiGo PS5 Silent Cooling Stand is designed to hold the PS5 in a vertical configuration and works with both the PS5 Disc Edition and the PS5 Digital Edition. At only $60, it’s not overly expensive – especially when you consider it also includes a ten-game organizer and a charging stand for two PS5 Dualsense controllers.

The PS5 attaches to this stand with the included screw, so it’s more secure than if it just sat inside the stand itself. There are three fan speeds to choose from, all of which pull hot air down and away from the system, allowing cooler air to take its place.

The NexiGo PS5 Cooling Stand is available on Amazon for just $60 and is eligible for Prime shipping.

2. Oivo PS5 Cooling Stand

The Oivo PS5 Cooling Stand has many of the same features as the NexiGo, but it improves on it in several ways. It too offers three different fan speeds (low, medium, and high) with LED indicators, two DualSense charging ports, and game storage. However, it offers several advanced safety features including overcharge, overheat, and overvoltage protection. It also has high-speed charging for two PS5 controllers at once, bringing them to nearly full in just 2.5 hours.

The Oivo provides storage for up to 12 video games, as well as a 2-in-1 cable that is conveniently hidden behind the console. It qualifies for free Prime shipping, and at just $40 (with a 20% coupon at checkout), it’s a more affordable choice than the NexiGo.

3. Oivo PS5 Horizontal Stand

The vertical orientation is the default setup for most PS5 consoles, but that can make it a bit difficult for people in the horizontal fan club. This PS5 cooling stand from Oivo is aimed at people that prefer to keep their PS5 on its side. The internal cooling fan spins at 4,500 RPMs, but is still incredibly quiet. This level of power is necessary for keeping the console cool, as some people have reported higher instances of overheating when the PS5 is set up horizontally.

While it doesn’t have any game slots for storage, it does offer two charging docks for PS5 controllers and four USB charging dongles for PS5 accessories like headsets. The Oivo PS5 Horizontal Stand also features overvoltage, overheating, and overcurrent protection, just like its vertical cooling stand.

The Oivo PS5 Horizontal Stand is available for $37 from Amazon Prime, with a 20% coupon that can be applied at checkout.

4. Benazcap PS5 Cooling Stand

While the NexiGo and Oivo stands are very noticeable, the Benazcap PS5 Cooling Stand opts for a more subdued, subtle look. It’s a black base that the PS5 fits neatly into, but it provides a lot of functionality for that small package. In addition to the vertical cooling stand, it includes a dual controller charger, and storage for up to 15 games.

The dual fans keep the console cool, and the metal base assists in pulling heat away from the game console. LED status lights indicate the charge of the controllers, and there’s even a built-in stand for a headset and a cable hook to help keep things more organized. Beside the game storage is a slot for a PS5 media remote, if you have one.

The Benazcap PS5 Cooling Stand is $42, but is eligible for a 10% coupon you can apply at checkout.

5. Yuanhot Vertical Cooling Stand

The Yuanhot Vertical Cooling Stand is the most budget-friendly vertical stand at just $17. That said, it still ranks highly, with a total of 4.5 stars after more than 950 reviews. It has the features you’d expect from higher-priced models, including an all-in-one design with storage for your PS5 games and controller charging.

Two controllers can be charged at once on the cooling stand, but there are also three USB ports for powering other accessories. Charging status lights will tell you whether the controllers are fully charged or not.

The lower price does come at one cost, though: it has only two cooling fans, and only two speed options: high and low. The low speed still helps keep the heat down, but it’s not as efficient as the high speed option. The Yuanhot Vertical Cooling Stand works with both Digital and Disc versions of the PS5, too, and its minimalistic design will appeal to quite a few people who find the larger builds somewhat garish.

Do You Need a Cooling System?

The PS5 fan inside the console is plenty powerful on its own, which means that an entire charging station might be somewhat overkill. Sure, having a charging station for controllers is nice, but is it worth the added cost? A quick Google search will show a lot of gamers that dealt with overheating when the console first launched.

Since then, the problems have seemed to calm down a bit – but if you’re a hardcore gamer that spends most of your time playing, then you’ll want to do anything you can to extend the lifespan of the system.

A cooling station can help. It’s not an absolute necessity, but it can improve your experience and let you spend more time with your favorite titles.

A custom-printed envelope is one of the easiest ways to add some flair and professionalism to any written communication. And while printing your own envelopes is fun, you need the services of an envelope printing website for bulk orders.

You can select a catchy design or customize an existing template to create your unique envelop style. Most sites even let you upload your own artwork, allowing you to print large quantities of envelopes showing off your brand logo. Here is a selection of the best envelop printing websites on the internet.

1. Envelopes – Best Overall

Focusing entirely on its namesake product, Envelopes.com offers a greater variety and freedom of customization than any other envelop printing site. You can start with a predesigned template and modify all aspects of it, even adding your own images.

Then there is its recipient addressing service, which takes an uploaded data file and prints out all the delivery addresses in digital calligraphy. This saves you an unbelievable amount of time without sacrificing the personalized feel of a handwritten invitation.

The pricing differs based on the paper size, color, and paper stock quality, but Envelopes.com commits to a production time of five business days – three if you elect for a rush order. The shipping, of course, takes additional time and expense.

2. VistaPrint – Best for Quick Shipping

Popular for its business cards, VistaPrint also provides a custom envelop printing service. In addition to customizing templates and uploading your own designs, you can also utilize VistaPrint’s design services to create a professional design from scratch.

Not that it’s needed – there are plenty of great templates to choose from already, and you can print on both sides to further set your selection apart. This also includes the option to print return addresses, with matching return address labels should you need it.

Prices start at $5.99 for ten envelopes, with extra shipping charges varying by speed. You can opt for the Standard 8-day delivery, or cut it down to 3-4 days by paying a premium Express delivery fee. These timeframes include printing as well as shipping, so you can print envelopes from VistaPrint at short notice.

3. Staples – Best for Office Use

A leading destination for office stationery, Staples is another great site for custom envelope printing. True to its roots, Staples specializes in envelopes meant for corporate usage, with envelop sizes ranging from regular correspondence to large mailers.

There is also a great deal of variety in the quality of paper available. You can get some low-cost paper for day-to-day communications, as well as premium thick envelopes for a luxurious feel in promotional materials.

The best part is the unique design elements meant to facilitate official use, like window envelopes to avoid double printing or security envelopes with tinted patterns on the inside to conceal sensitive contents. The pricing scheme, however, is geared toward bulk orders, with a minimum quantity of 250 envelopes.

4. Cards & Pockets – Best for Invitations

There are many websites to order custom-printed envelopes from, but what about laser-cut envelopes? Cards & Pockets offers the unique option to customize your envelopes with laser-cut designs, creating delicate patterns that are impossible to replicate with printing alone.

This comes in addition to full-bleed envelope liners to enhance the effect of the cuts and give a more premium feel to the envelopes. With rich colors and high-quality papers used, the envelopes of Cards & Pockets are the ideal choice for sending cards and invitations.

There is also the standard option with printed guest addresses and customized envelope designs. Prices vary by the design, but the good thing is that the envelopes are shipped worldwide, and processed in just two-three business days.

5. GotPrint – Best Online Designer

GotPrint might not offer anything that the other options on our list don’t, but it sure has an amazing online envelope designer. The web app allows you to visually customize the layout, adding patterns and messages to both sides of the envelope.

Built-in scales give you an accurate look at the dimensions of every design element, making it easy to gauge the look of the final product. Even the folding flaps are represented, leaving no aspect a mystery.

The service leans a bit toward bulk orders, with order quantities starting at 100 pieces. The production timeline is also much longer, taking around ten days to ship the envelopes. Still, if you are ordering in bulk and are willing to wait, GotPrint is a good choice for custom printing your envelopes.

What Is the Best Site to Print Custom Envelopes?

Envelopes.com is the best option if you are looking to get custom-printed envelopes instead of printing them yourself. If are in rush, go for an Express order with VistaPrint, perhaps even leverage their design services to craft the perfect look.

For laser-cut designs, Cards & Pockets is the perfect option, while companies intending to get business envelopes for official use might want to try Staples. GotPrint is great for those seeking precise online customization, though its production process is slower than others.

Specializations aside, any of the sites listed above are great for envelope printing. Whether you are a small business owner looking to give a premium feel to your correspondence or an individual sending out invites, you can pick one and go with it.

If your Android phone has begun to slow down or has frozen entirely, a reboot might help restore it to proper functionality. Turning off a phone used to be as simple as holding down the power button, but with recent updates — most notably the release of Android 12 — this has changed slightly.

Here are five ways to turn off your Android phone using the hardware keys, system settings, and ADB commands.

Method 1: Switch Off Your Phone Using the Power Button

On older Android models, pressing and holding the power button will open the power off menu. After that, simply tap Power off to turn off your phone.

However, from Android 12 onwards, pressing and holding the power button will no longer open the power off menu. Instead, it will activate either Google Assistant or Bixby Voice on Samsung devices.

Instead, to power off your phone using the power button, you must long-press both the power key and the volume down button to access the power menu.

Note: You can also use the hardware keys to hard reset your phone in a pinch. To do so, press and hold the power key, volume down key, and volume up button for a few seconds to put your phone into Recovery Mode. Once there, select Wipe data / Factory reset using the volume keys and select your choice with the power key.

Method 2: Turn Off Your Android Phone With Quick Settings

Using the Quick Settings menu is another simple way to turn off or reboot your Android device:

  1. From your home screen, swipe down once from the top to access quick settings. You’ll need to swipe down twice if you’ve unlocked your phone.
  2. Press the power icon.
  1. Tap Power off.

Method 3: Shut Down Your Android Using Voice Commands

If you have a Samsung device such as a Samsung Galaxy, you can power it off using Bixby. First, you need to set up Bixby Voice. Then, press and hold the Bixby button (the old power key), wait for Bixby to activate, say “Turn off the phone,” and confirm your choice.

Apparently, Google Assistant will soon be able to turn your phone off via voice commands. However, it isn’t clear if this will be exclusive to Google Pixel phones.

Method 4: Power Off Your Android Using the Accessibility Menu

The Accessibility or Assistant menu (on Samsung) is designed for users with physical impairments, offering a way to access hardware buttons with assistive touch options.

To turn on the Assistant menu on a Samsung phone:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Accessibility.
  1. Tap Interaction and dexterity.
  1. Toggle on the Assistant menu.

Tap the floating Assistant icon on the home screen, swipe to the left, and select the Power off menu.

To turn on the Accessibility menu on a non-Samsung phone:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Find Accessibility. Depending on your model, this can be found in either Additional settings or System.
  1. Tap the Accessibility menu and toggle it on.

You can then tap the floating accessibility icon and choose the Power off button.

Method 5: Turn Off Your Android Using ADB Commands

The Android Debug Bridge (ADB) is a command-line tool that enables developers to perform various functions. It’s the most complicated way to turn off your phone, but it’s a useful method if your phone suddenly becomes unresponsive.

Enable Developer Options and USB Debugging

You need to enable Developer Options and USB debugging for your computer to be able to recognize your Android device.

To do so:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap About phone (this may be found under System on some models).
  1. Tap Software information.
  1. Find Build number and tap this seven times. Put in your PIN code when prompted. You should see a message saying, “You’re now a developer.”
  1. Go back to Settings and scroll to the bottom of the page.
  2. Tap Developer options.
  1. Toggle on USB debugging.
  1. Press OK.

Set Up ADB

The next step is to download the SDK Platform Tools. This command-line software will enable you to interact with your Android device. Once downloaded, extract the platform-tools folder from the archive using a file archiver like WinRAR or 7-Zip File Manager.

With SDK Platform-Tools ready to go, follow these steps to power off your phone:

  1. Connect your phone to your computer via a USB cable.
  2. Open Command Prompt by pressing the Win key and searching for “Command Prompt.” If you’re an Apple Mac user, use Terminal instead.
  1. Next, you should change the Command Prompt directory so it’s in the same folder as the ADB program. To do so, you need to use the command “cd” followed by the folder location. For example:

cd C:\Users\WORK\Downloads\platform-tools

  1. Type “adb devices” and press enter to double-check that the ADB program has recognized your Android device. If recognized, it will display your Android’s serial number. If not, try reconnecting the charger.
  1. Type “adb shell reboot -p” and press enter. For Terminal, type “.\adb shell reboot -p” and press Enter.
  1. You should see a message saying “Done.”

Note: If your hardware keys don’t work, you will not be able to turn on your phone using ADB commands after it has powered down. Instead, use the command “adb reboot” to ensure that it restarts.

Fire It Up Again

Now that you’ve successfully powered down your phone, you can start it back up again by pressing and holding the power button. Remember that it’s impossible to turn your phone back on if your power button doesn’t work. In this case, you should restart your phone rather than turn it off.

Taking a summer or part-time job is part of growing up, and it’s a great way for high school students to make money on the side. Most teenagers think their first job might be as a babysitter or something in fast food, but times have changed – and so have the options for teenagers.

Now, jobs for teens aren’t limited to traditional jobs. They can find jobs in data entry, as customer service representatives, as lifeguards, and more. The internet makes looking for job opportunities easier than ever before and gives teens the chance to earn real-world work experience.

Snag

Snag was once known as Snagajob. It’s an excellent tool for teenage job seekers. While anyone can use the tool, it specifically has a module built for teen job seekers. You can search by zip code, too. Jobs are tagged as full-time, part-time, and/or teen, making it easy to see which positions might be right for you at a glance.

All teens have to do is enter their zip code and a keyword relating to their job. They can then filter by the menu options at the top of the screen.

Hire Teen

Hire Teen is a service aimed specifically at teenage workers, offering employment in various categories. Teens can search by keyword, city, and state, and age, or they can specifically look for jobs in their age range. For example, jobs for 15 year olds might include food service, camp counselors, dishwashers, and more.

Teens can also search by categories that include amusement parks, government agencies, restaurants, retail stores, and even modeling jobs for teens. Taking an entry-level job helps build up experience for post-graduate employment.

Teens4Hire

Teens4Hire is a site aimed at helping people aged 14 to 19 find seasonal, volunteer, or part-time jobs. High schoolers have to register with an account. Employers also have to register to list jobs online. It also has information tools for preparing for interviews and impressing in the office.

Recruiters can use the site as a way to find prospective employees, too. Teens4Hire is an organization, which means many of its staff work on a volunteer basis with the interest of kids at heart.

Survey Junkie

If you aren’t looking for a traditional job, then Survey Junkie might offer a solution. It’s like an online job; teens sign up and build a profile, after which the site matches them with surveys that best fit them. Completed surveys are worth a certain amount of points, which they can redeem for PayPal or gift cards. No bank account is required.

There are articles on how to monetize social media accounts, as well as how to seek out self-employment. If you’re trying to get a job, but none of the standard job listings seem right, then Survey Junkie offers an alternative.

Summer Jobs

As the name implies, Summer Jobs aims to connect people with potential seasonal work. This is ideal for minors who might not qualify for jobs in other fields, but it’s an easy way to get work as a lifeguard or summer camp counselor. Sometimes, summer jobs can even entail babysitting for a working family or just mowing the lawn for nearby businesses.

Nextdoor

Nextdoor is a social media platform broken down by neighborhoods and zip codes. You must prove you live in a specific area to take advantage of the platform. If you have extra-curricular activities or other responsibilities that get in the way of the job search, NextDoor is an easy way to find odd jobs to earn a little extra cash.

Anyone interested in finding work on NextDoor can post in the For Sale & Free section of the site or make a general post in their neighborhood with the services they’re offering.

Fiverr

Fiverr is an online freelance website where vendors can offer services of nearly any kind, from drawing and animation to programming and writing. You can even offer online tutoring. Fiverr is an excellent choice for teens because the age requirement is only 13, unlike other freelance outlets like Upwork.

At a time when traditional job openings might not suit the specific type of job a teen is looking for, freelance options are the way to go. Fiverr also has a mobile app on which a teen can track their work. In addition, freelance work can help build up an impressive portfolio that someone can use in the future when applying for a more traditional job title.

Watching sports is fun, but after a while, sports streaming isn’t exciting enough. So why limit yourself to following your favorite players when you can manage them virtually?

This article will show you the best sites for fantasy baseball and a few good resource websites as well. Also, if you’re a sports fanatic, check out our article on how to join an online fantasy football league. Scratch that competitive itch!

1. MLB

MLB.com is the official web page of Major League Baseball, so it’s naturally one of the best places to play fantasy baseball. This website relies heavily on statistics and data from real players and is perfect for DFS. During the baseball season, games are run every day, all day long. MLB.com offers free fantasy leagues, and you can try your league for the whole season free of charge.

The MLB site also has free team management options. That said, most people complain about the outdated design of the team management tools. Nevertheless, it’s perfect for those just starting their fantasy baseball journey. They also offer the MLB Play app available for Android and iPhone.

2. ESPN Fantasy Baseball

This website always ranks in the top five. It has real-time updates of player news, stats, and rankings that will help you make decisions for each season. After all, ESPN has a significant presence in the world of sports. It usually has the newest baseball content to offer as soon as it’s released. Free leagues are available through ESPN, but it will cost you if you want detailed player info or additional help with DFS.

ESPN makes it easy to track players’ performance and discover patterns in the game. This website has many helpful tools such as individual player stats tracking, customizable league rules, drafting options, waivers, live scoring, customized updates, and more. ESPN is a great place if you want to make your own decisions based on available season data and be completely independent.

3. Yahoo! Fantasy Sports

Yahoo was the first website to host the fantasy baseball league in the 1980s. It has offered its users a great way to play the game. Fantasy baseball is free to play on Yahoo! Sports and has a very user-friendly interface. But if you want more features, you will have to pay a subscription fee. Yahoo Fantasy Plus users will have an advantage in winning the game because they can tap into lineup management, new research tools, advanced stats, trade insights, and more.

You can join pre-existing leagues or create new ones on Yahoo! Sports. The website will help decide the scoring format for the style of play of your group. Then, you can choose between Points Only, Rotisserie, or Head-to-Head. Yahoo! Also has fantastic tools to help you manage your league. They are draft strategy, daily matchups, and player news and updates. Yahoo! Sports is a detailed website that can be very helpful for new players.

4. CBS Sports

CBS won many awards for being the best fantasy sports game provider on their website or through mobile apps available for Android and Apple. Besides baseball, they also feature fantasy football and fantasy basketball. The best part is that CBS is devoted to both beginners and advanced players.

If you are a high-level player, you can opt for a subscription that will bring you new customization options. By subscribing, you can access the “Commissioner” version of the fantasy game. It will bring new drafting, scoring, wavering, scheduling, and league management options.

CBS also has a free version that provides new players with more than enough features for a successful start. Among them is access to a message board, instant messenger, joining private leagues, or owning them. CBS also hosts a Fantasy Baseball podcast that offers its listeners great advice about the players. Here you can learn who were the best pitchers and hitters in the season, or you can hear the latest news about players.

5. FanDuel

If you want to step up your fantasy baseball game and start earning money, FanDuel is a great place to start. This website has one-day fantasy baseball leagues, and your entry fee can be as low as $1. Start by choosing your league for an entire tournament or for only one day. Once the game starts, you can watch it in real-time. If you place high in your league, the potential to win cash prizes will be great.

The advantage of the FanDuel website is that it will limit unpredictability. You have to choose a league each week, which means no more worries about players’ injuries or bad draft selection. FanDuel is an excellent place for those who can’t commit to the whole season but would choose when to play instead.

6. Fantrax HQ

If you are looking for a wide range of options for your fantasy baseball game, the Fantrax HQ platform might be the right place. Here you can access four league styles: Commissioner, Best Ball, Draft and Hold, and Classic. You can participate in a mock draft if you want to practice your fantasy game strategy.

On Fantrax HQ, you can track player standings, statistics, scoring, matchup schedules, player injuries, news, and transactions, all up-to-date. Also, this platform pulls the most relevant MLB headlines for fantasy baseball, just so it can advise you on your play throughout the season. All of the content on Fantrax HQ is completely free and regularly updated.

The Best Fantasy Baseball Resources

There is a ton of information on Fantasy Baseball, and it can be tricky to pick up the valuable resources. It seems as if podcasts and websites about fantasy sports pop out every day. Which ones are the best? Where to search for the most reliable resources about fantasy baseball? Here is the list of resources that will provide you with everything you need to win your games. Keep in mind some of these websites come with a paid subscription, but that doesn’t mean that free ones are any less worthy of your attention.

1. Razzball

Razzball features a heap of information and statistics on fantasy baseball. It was launched in 2007, and since then, it has become one of the most visited resource websites. During the busy MLB season, this site will post more than 30 times. During the off-season, it continues posting, though not as much. If you are new to fantasy baseball, RazzBall will provide advice and tips on picking up the best league and managing your team.

This website also hosts a weekly podcast that you can download and listen to anytime. For premium content and tools, RazzBall will ask you to subscribe for only $6.99 per month or $27.99 per season. There are other subscription options worth checking out.

2. Fangraphs Fantasy Baseball

Many people will agree that Fangraphs is simply the best free resource. If you need to do some player research, this website has all the information on individual athletes. Fangraphs will allow you to make custom leaderboards for each player.

They also have excellent writers and in-depth analysis articles that will help you learn all you need to know about the players, teams, statistics, dynasty league management,  and more. Fangraphs also has a weekly podcast led by two men who discuss all the new information about players and how that can influence fantasy baseball games.

Although Fangraphs is free, you can choose to support their work by paying a membership. There are various membership options, with the basic monthly fee being $5 and yearly $25.

3. NBC Sports Edge

This is the website where you should research all the news and notes on individual players. NBC Sports Edge used to be known as Rotoworld. Still, it rebranded in 2021 when it was integrated into the NBS Sports tv programming.

Most of the content of this website is behind the paywall, but the news is not. Here you can have all the essential headlines in one place. Their journalists are making it worthwhile for all fantasy baseball fans too.

Aside from news, this website will offer you a mock draft simulator, major league betting, season tools, and many other options that will help up your game. You can also listen to a podcast called “Circling the Bases”, where you can listen about stats, players’ injuries, wins, and losses.

4. Baseball Savant

Baseball Savant is a perfect place for everyone who loves looking at beautifully and neatly presented stats. It is a go-to place for all the data you need for player research and is free. Baseball Savant uses colors and infographics to bring the percentile rankings and statistics in an interesting and easy-to-understand way. You can study various categories for each athlete, such as hard-hit rate, exit velocity, or sprint speed.

This website will allow you to sort the leaderboards as you see fit. Baseball Savant details some of the statistics other resource sites often neglect. Among them are in-depth analyses of hitters and pitchers that will allow you to go really deep in your research of players. Savant’s game feeds will bring you all the vital stats at your fingertips while you are following the live games. This is precisely why you should use Baseball Savant regularly.

The horror movie genre is a popular one, with new scary titles hitting both the big screen and streaming services all the time. One company took notice of the large number of horror-movie enthusiasts and created a streaming platform dedicated to the genre.

The platform, called Shudder, has since become quite popular, and for good reason. The service offers tons of horror movies, both classic and new, as well as exclusives.

If you are a horror fan yourself and have exhausted the offerings on other streaming services, Shudder may be the place you want to look next. They offer a wide variety of horror films as well as TV shows spanning multiple different sub-genres, including supernatural, slasher, thriller, among others.

In this article we’ll walk you through all Shudder has to offer, such as their exclusive titles, library content, pricing, and more. We’ll also answer the question as to whether or not Shudder may be worth getting for you.

Shudder’s Library

Shudder offers both movies and series in the horror genre. These span multiple sub-genres, and include both classic and modern horror. Below are all the genres Shudder includes:

  • Supernatural
  • Killers
  • Creature Features
  • Psychological Thriller
  • Exclusive & Original
  • International
  • Documentary
  • Comedy
  • Crime & Mystery
  • Revenge
  • Sci-Fi
  • Cult
  • Shorts

The contents of their library is truly tailored to die-hard horror fans. Not only does it include classics like “Halloween”, “Nosferatu”, “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, and more, but there are plenty of new horror movies to discover.

If you have a hard time choosing what to watch, Shudder also offers what they call Collections, where they gather specific types of horror films to choose from. They also offer Shudder TV, which is a 24/7 live stream of shows and movies.

The Shudder exclusives are also great, and they include titles like Rob Zombie’s “3 From Hell,” an animated Creepshow special, as well as documentaries on horror classics with exclusive interviews.

Shudder’s Features

Shudder has a few features that make using the streaming service more enjoyable. One of these is much like Netflix and can save movies or series you want to watch to a list called My List. This makes it easier to save the movies you want to watch for later.

Another feature that isn’t on many other streaming services these days is the ability to write reviews for what you’ve watched. You can rate movies out of five “skulls” as well as write a review to explain your rating. Other user’s reviews are also available to read, which is extremely helpful when choosing what to watch.

The Shudder TV feature, as mentioned above, is also a unique feature for a streaming service. You can choose from three different live channels, which are “It Came From Shudder,” for Shudder exclusives, “The Folk Horror Collection,” and “Slashics.” These channels are going on constantly, so you can always tune in if you can’t choose something else to watch.

Streaming Features

The streaming features of Shudder are some of the downsides of the platform. The service only allows for streaming on one device at a time, though some have found streaming on multiple devices is still possible, so your mileage may vary.

Shudder also doesn’t support 4K, or even 1080p. Most of the movies are streamed at 720p, though some will stream lower. The quality of the streaming, as I’ve found, can also include some lag at times and odd errors. However, most of the time there’s no issue.

Membership Prices

Shudder has two different types of membership, either $5.99 per month, or you can pay for Shudder annually at $56.99, which comes to $4.75 a month. Shudder also usually offers a free 7 day trial for the annual plan, and you can cancel it at any time before being billed for the whole year.

This is significantly cheaper than many other streaming services, likely due to the fact it caters to one genre and has some streaming limitations. This can definitely make it worth your while for the price if you’re a big horror fan.

Devices That Support Shudder

Shudder is supported on a number of devices so that you can watch movies on your TV set or mobile devices. Here are the devices which support Shudder:

  • iOS App Store
  • Android Google Play
  • Amazon Fire TV
  • Roku
  • Xbox One

If you don’t have a device that will support Shudder or the Shudder app, I’ve had success with hooking up a laptop via HDMI to a TV to watch movies on the service. However, this has caused more issues to occur than streaming Shudder otherwise.

Is Shudder Worth It?

Shudder is great for anyone who is a huge fan of horror, as there is an amazing selection of movies and series. The documentaries on Shudder are also worth watching, especially if you’re an obsessive fan who enjoys knowing all the ins and outs of their favorite films. Shudder also offers great exclusives and original movies that make paying for the service more desirable.

If you aren’t too big on horror movies, Shudder may not be worth it for you. The platform does offer some more thriller, crime, and mystery-type films as well, but the majority of their offerings certainly revolve around horror.

If you’re still unsure about paying for Shudder, you could also always try the free trial to see if you’d actually be interested in paying for it.

A Streaming Service For All Your Horror Needs

Overall, Shudder provides something unique for those who may not be impressed with horror genre offerings on other streaming services. It’s well priced for what it offers, with lots of great movies, exclusives, and more for horror enthusiasts to enjoy.

As the name suggests, Last Minute Travel is all about the deals you can get on last-minute flights, hotels, cruises, and even car rentals. If you become a member of the Last Minute Travel Club for $50 per year, you can benefit from exclusive hotel deals available only to the members. You will also collect points that you can later use on free travel.

If adventurous, you will love the “Undercover Hotels” feature. Super low travel offers will keep the hotel’s identity a secret until you complete the booking. However, you won’t go through the booking process blindly. You’ll know the hotel’s general location, rating, and review score. With “Undercover Hotels,” you can get up to 65% discounts on your hotel room.

2. Priceline

Priceline lets you customize your travel package if you don’t like the hotel room or the flight times they have offered. But keep in mind that every change will come at a cost. That said, flexible travelers will be awarded Express Deals that give up to 60% discount on hotel stays. The only downside is that you won’t know the hotel’s exact location or name until after the booking is completed.

For those who don’t want to take the risk with Express Deals, Priceline offers a very detailed and easy-to-use map that shows all accommodations available for your last-minute trip. Once you hover the cursor over the location (labeled with the price), a pop-up display will tell you the hotel’s rating, name, and guest review score.

3. Kayak

Kayak is a search engine that will allow you to find flights, but you won’t book them with Kayak. The search engine will not charge any fees for the booking, and there are no hidden charges you need to worry about. You can use many filters that Kayak has to offer to narrow down the search to match your exact criteria.

Since you can’t book through Kayak, you won’t have any loyalty programs. However, if you are a frequent flier, you can earn airline points by searching for flights through Kayak.

4. Travelocity

Travelocity is a website where you can book everything you need for your last-minute trip. There are options to book a flight, a hotel, and a car, and if you choose a combination of two or more items, you’ll get a discount. You can even add excursions after you finish the booking process. Travelocity is a great platform to plan your whole trip.

Once you register on the Travelocity website, you will receive a 10% discount on hotel stays. The website also has a price match guarantee, which means that if you find the same hotel, car, or cruise on a different platform that offers a lower price, Travelocity will refund the difference.

5. Groupon Getaways

Groupon is a well-known online marketplace that offers its customers great deals. But many have wondered if last-minute vacation packages offered on Groupon Getaways are worth it. It is essential to know that travel agencies or individual travel agents run these travel packages, and they are fully planned. That means you will not be able to make any hotel, flight, or trip changes. However, if you’re a first-time traveler, this could be a great option for you.

International travel can be very stressful, and having it all planned out for you will take the edge off. But be aware that the dates are set in stone, and the accommodation might not live up to your expectations. The excursions can add extra costs on top of the price displayed for the travel package. Read carefully about what you’re buying and check for any hidden fees.

6. Travelzoo

Travelzoo will find the best deals from other websites, so you don’t have to search multiple platforms. It serves as a link between you and an appropriate booking website. Travelzoo has a vast database, and members benefit from special deals. However, these deals are time-limited.

The Top 20 Deals page changes every week, so you have access to only the best packages. The Travelzoo team tests these deals and verifies them. Some of the deals you find through Travelzoo are fully refundable.

7. Orbitz

Using Orbitz, you can find vacation deals that include any combination of flight, hotel, and car rental bookings. The website will even allow you to book accommodation for a part of your travel period. The search is very detailed, and you can browse hotels by their cancellation policy or specific amenities such as spas or free Wi-Fi.

Orbitz has its reward system for which you need to register. It will allow you to collect Orbucks which you will be able to spend on a hotel room. Orbucks can be collected through flights, travel packages, and hotel bookings through the Orbitz app.

8. Expedia

Expedia is both an online booking platform and a mobile app. Through Expedia, you will be able to easily find suitable vacation packages, cruises, hotels, excursions, flights, and car rentals. You can search for a vacation package by simply entering your desired location, duration of the planned trip, and the location from which you’re departing.

Expedia has a very generous reward system. You will get one point for every dollar spent on your travel plans (apart from flights). Flights will give you one point per $5 spent, but only if you hold a Silver or Gold membership. The points will be doubled if you’re booking through the mobile app. You can spend accumulated points to get free travel.

9. CheapOair

If you are in search of cheap flights, CheapOair might be the right solution for you. An online travel agency, CheapOair offers up to a 20% discount for booked flights. You can also book hotels through this online agency, and members can receive up to a 55% discount.

CheapOair also has a reward program based on a point system. You will receive your first 500 points just for signing up. Then, the site will add another 500 points to your account after your first booking, hotel, or flight. After you collect these initial 1000 points, each dollar spent through CheapOair will land you another 1 point. You can also opt for a CheapOair credit card that will add $7 for each dollar spent.

10. Google Flights

If you want a simple and clean search engine with some handy filters for finding last-minute flights, Google Flights might be what you’re looking for. Use the map view to see the prices all over the world. This is particularly useful for flexible travelers who don’t care much about the destination.

If you already have a set destination in mind, you can use Google’s price graph to find the dates that have the cheapest flights. Just keep in mind that booking is not done through Google. Instead, Google will direct you to the airline.

That said, Google Flights has a flaw that you have to be aware of. Sometimes it displays cheap flights that are no longer available.

11. Hoteltonight

Hoteltonight is a booking service that will allow you to find a hotel, book it, and go straight to it, all on the same day. This is a fantastic option if you’re searching for last-minute hotel deals. The service works both in web browsers and as an app for smartphones.

That said, Hoteltonight also lets you plan your last-minute vacation, not just book a hotel on the same day. It will allow you to book a hotel room up to seven days in advance. The later you book a room through Hoteltonight, the better hotel deals will be available.

12. Hotwire

Hotwire is a booking website that promises cheap travels that you won’t regret. You can book flights, hotels, car rentals, or any combination directly through Hotwire. They even have a mobile phone app. In fact, if you want the lowest possible prices, additional discounts are available if you book through their app.

The Hotel Rate tool will allow you to be adventurous and book an undisclosed hotel within a specific rating range. However, some hidden fees might be a problem with Hotwire, so read all the details carefully.

13. Airfare Watchdog

Airfare Watchdog is a great solution for people looking for last-minute flights or who are flexible with their travel dates. The company employs real people that will search various websites to provide you with the best flight deals possible.

14. Cruise Direct

Cruise Direct can be an excellent solution for people looking for affordable cruise deals. Last-minute cruise offers usually happen due to a cancellation. Someone opting out of the trip can be your way into a luxury room at great bargains. Keep in mind that prices will fluctuate depending on how long until the cruise departure.

Cruise Direct doesn’t charge booking fees, and it offers a price match guarantee. However, the website doesn’t offer any exclusive cruises to its users.

15. Tourradar

Tourradar is a digital travel agent with over 40,000 tours offered worldwide. From the Caribbean to the East Coast of Australia, Tourradar has so many travel sites and tours to offer. You can even personalize your family’s vacation by opting for a private tour that Tourradar will tailor just for you.

Last-minute deals are only a tiny part of what Tourradar has to offer. Using this online tour agent, you can spend less on your next vacation with Early Bird Savings and 2 for 1 deals. However, returning customers have no benefits as the booking is never done directly with the tour operators.

16. Booking.com

Probably the best of all accommodation booking sites, Booking.com will provide you with an excellent search experience with many filters to narrow down your next vacation spots. But Booking.com doesn’t limit itself only to hotels. It also gives you the option of choosing between apartments, entire villas, and some very unique properties at discounted prices.
